Training tool — not medical advice

Reactive provides performance information, not healthcare. Do not use its scores, reports, training plans, recommendations, or AI-generated content to diagnose or treat a condition or as a substitute for a qualified healthcare professional.

01 Agreement and eligibility

By accessing or using Reactive’s websites, applications, assessments, training tools, reports, or related services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service is not intended for children under 13. If you are between 13 and 17, you may use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. That parent or guardian agrees to these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for your use of the Service. Organizations that invite or manage minor athletes are responsible for obtaining all required guardian permissions.

02 The Service

Reactive provides visual-performance assessments, skill scores, training workflows, reports, organization workspaces, and tools for the coach-athlete relationship. Features may change as the Service develops. We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue a feature when reasonably necessary, including for safety, maintenance, security, or legal reasons.

You are responsible for compatible equipment, a supported browser, a stable internet connection, and a safe environment for assessments and training. Scores depend on factors such as device performance, camera position, lighting, user attention, and test conditions; they should not be treated as perfectly repeatable measurements.

03 Accounts and organizations

You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in links and account access secure, and promptly tell us about suspected unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable security measures.

Coaches and organization administrators may invite users, assign roles, purchase athlete access, view permitted athlete information, and manage workspace content. They must use those capabilities only for legitimate coaching or program purposes and maintain any notices, consents, or permissions required for their athletes and staff. You may not access another person’s account, data, or workspace without authorization.

04 Camera-based features

Some assessments use your device camera to estimate face and gaze landmarks. You choose whether to grant browser camera permission. Raw camera video is processed on your device and is not intentionally uploaded to or stored by Reactive. Derived gaze traces, assessment measurements, scores, and sanitized camera settings or capabilities may be sent to and stored by the Service.

Camera-based features are designed to measure task performance, not to identify you or authenticate your identity. Do not record another person or permit another person to take a camera-based assessment without their knowledge and any required guardian consent.

05 Not medical advice

Reactive is a training and performance platform. Reactive is not a healthcare provider or a medical device, and the Service does not provide medical advice or emergency services.

The Service—including assessments, scores, gaze and visual-performance metrics, classifications, reports, Top Strength and Priority Focus designations, training plans, recommendations, coach notes, and AI-generated narratives—is provided only for general performance, educational, and informational purposes. Nothing in the Service is intended to diagnose, screen for, monitor, treat, cure, rehabilitate, or prevent any disease, injury, visual condition, or other medical condition.

The Service cannot evaluate your complete health or medical history, determine whether an activity is safe for you, or replace the judgment of a physician, optometrist, physical therapist, or other qualified healthcare professional. Using the Service or communicating through it does not create a doctor-patient, therapist-patient, or other healthcare-provider relationship with Reactive.

Consult a professional before changing training

Consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning or materially changing an assessment or training program, particularly if you have an injury or medical condition, are pregnant, take medication that may affect activity, experience persistent symptoms, or have been advised to limit physical activity. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of a score, report, recommendation, or other content in the Service.

Stop for symptoms and use emergency services

Stop an assessment or training activity immediately if you experience pain, dizziness, faintness, breathing difficulty, sudden weakness, vision changes, unusual discomfort, or another concerning symptom, and seek appropriate medical attention. Reactive does not monitor for emergencies. If you believe you may be experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency services immediately; do not use or rely on the Service for help.

06 Billing and cancellation

Paid plans are billed through our payment processor at the price, billing interval, seat or athlete quantity, and taxes shown at checkout. By starting a subscription, you authorize recurring charges to your selected payment method until cancellation. You are responsible for keeping billing information current and for charges incurred by authorized workspace administrators.

You may manage or cancel a subscription through the billing portal. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and access continues through that date. Payments are non-refundable and we do not provide credits for partial periods, unused access, or reduced quantities, except where required by law or expressly stated at purchase. We may suspend paid features for overdue amounts after reasonable notice.

07 Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

  • break the law, violate another person’s rights, or endanger any person;
  • harass, discriminate against, exploit, or deceive athletes, minors, or other users;
  • upload malicious code, disrupt the Service, evade security, or probe for vulnerabilities;
  • scrape, reverse engineer, resell, or copy the Service except where law permits;
  • submit false results, impersonate another person, or manipulate assessments; or
  • use reports or personal information for unauthorized employment, insurance, medical, or eligibility decisions.

Reasonable, authorized coaching and internal organizational use is permitted. Contact us before conducting automated or high-volume access.

08 Content and ownership

You retain ownership of information, notes, selections, and other content you submit. You grant Reactive a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service and meet our legal obligations. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to provide the content.

Reactive and its licensors own the Service, including its software, designs, assessment presentation, reports, branding, and documentation. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for its intended purpose. No other rights are granted.

Feedback may be used without restriction or compensation, but we will not publicly identify you as its source without permission.

09 Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers for functions such as payments, email delivery, infrastructure, camera-processing libraries, and AI-assisted report narratives. Their services may be subject to separate terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services that we do not control, although we select and manage our providers with care.

10 Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account closure by emailing privacy@reactive.training. Subscription cancellation and account closure are separate actions. We may suspend or terminate access for material or repeated violations, nonpayment, security risk, unlawful conduct, or when required by law. When practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue.

After termination, provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect, including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and dispute terms. Data may be retained or deleted as described in the Privacy Policy and as required by law.

11 Disclaimers, liability, and indemnity

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” REACTIVE DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED ACCESS, ERROR-FREE RESULTS, ATHLETIC IMPROVEMENT, OR ANY PARTICULAR OUTCOME.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reactive Training LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, and providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or opportunity. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid Reactive for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

You will defend and indemnify Reactive from third-party claims arising from your content, your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your failure to obtain required permissions, except to the extent caused by Reactive’s own negligence or unlawful conduct.

12 General terms

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the complete agreement between you and Reactive about the Service unless a separate written agreement applies. If a separate agreement conflicts with these Terms, the separate agreement controls for its subject matter. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of the Service. A failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. If a term is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue in effect.

Georgia law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought in a state or federal court with jurisdiction in Georgia, and each party consents to those courts. Before filing a claim, please email privacy@reactive.training so we can try to resolve it.

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, law, or business practices. We will post the revised version and update the effective date, and will provide additional notice when required. Continued use after the updated Terms take effect means you accept them. Questions may be sent to privacy@reactive.training.
