Training tool — not medical advice

Reactive processes performance information to operate the Service, but it does not provide healthcare. Scores, reports, training plans, recommendations, and AI-generated content are not medical advice and must not be used to diagnose or treat a condition.

01 Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Reactive Training LLC (“Reactive,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our websites, applications, visual-performance assessments, training tools, reports, organization workspaces, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). It also explains the choices available to athletes, guardians, coaches, and organization administrators.

This Policy does not cover third-party services that operate under their own privacy policies or an organization’s independent handling of information outside Reactive. If an organization provides you access, both Reactive and that organization may have responsibilities for your information.

02 Information we collect

Information you or your organization provides

  • Account and profile information: email address, first and last name, date of birth, sports, activities, role, authentication records, and preferences.
  • Organization information: organization and team names, logos, roles, memberships, athlete-coach connections, invitations, and administrator actions.
  • Assessment and training information: answers, selections, response times, gaze traces, accuracy measurements, scores, summaries, training plans, completed sessions, and progress over time.
  • Workspace content: coach notes, athlete context, report content, scheduling details, support messages, and other information users submit.
  • Billing information: subscription status, athlete or seat quantity, invoice and transaction references, and payment-customer identifiers. Payment-card data is collected and processed by Stripe rather than stored directly by Reactive.

Information collected through use of the Service

We may collect IP address, browser and device type, operating system, page and feature activity, referring URLs, timestamps, error details, security events, and session data. We use cookies and similar browser storage for authentication, interface preferences, calibration information, demo progress, and other necessary product functions.

03 Camera and gaze data

Raw camera video is processed locally in your browser and is not intentionally uploaded to or stored by Reactive. We do not use camera features for facial recognition or identity authentication.

Certain gaze assessments request permission to use your device camera. Browser-based software estimates face and eye landmarks from the live camera stream to calculate gaze direction, response timing, positional accuracy, stability, and related task measurements. The live preview and raw image frames stay on your device during this processing.

Reactive may receive and retain the resulting assessment measurements, derived gaze traces, scores, calibration-related metadata, and sanitized camera diagnostics such as camera label, resolution, frame-rate settings, and supported capabilities. Device and group identifiers are removed from the saved camera diagnostics. These records help complete assessments, explain results, and troubleshoot camera performance.

Camera-processing libraries and model files may be downloaded from third-party content delivery or model-hosting providers. Those providers may receive ordinary network details, such as your IP address and browser information, when those files load.

04 How we use information

We use information to:

  • create accounts, authenticate users, and manage roles and invitations;
  • deliver assessments, calculate scores, generate reports, and provide training plans;
  • connect athletes, guardians, coaches, teams, and organizations as directed;
  • process subscriptions, maintain billing records, and prevent payment abuse;
  • send sign-in links, invitations, assessment notices, and service communications;
  • support users, diagnose errors, secure the Service, and prevent fraud or misuse;
  • analyze and improve reliability, accessibility, assessment quality, and features;
  • comply with law, enforce our agreements, and protect people and the Service; and
  • create aggregated or de-identified insights that do not reasonably identify a person.

We do not use personal information for third-party targeted advertising and do not sell personal information for money. We will not attempt to reidentify information we have de-identified, except to test whether our de-identification measures are effective.

05 How we disclose information

We may disclose information in the following circumstances:

  • Within your workspace: athletes, coaches, guardians, and organization administrators may see information appropriate to their role and relationship.
  • Service providers: vendors may process information for infrastructure, database hosting, payments, email, support, security, content delivery, and AI-assisted narrative generation. They may use it only to provide services to us or as law permits.
  • At your direction: we disclose information when you request an export, invite another user, connect with an organization, or otherwise direct us to do so.
  • Legal and safety reasons: we may disclose information to comply with law, legal process, or lawful requests, or to protect rights, safety, security, and integrity.
  • Business transactions: information may be transferred in connection with a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

Key providers currently include Stripe for payment processing, Resend for email delivery, OpenAI for report-narrative generation, and providers that deliver browser camera-processing libraries and model assets. Provider relationships may change as the Service evolves.

06 AI-assisted narratives

Reactive may send selected assessment facts and relevant athlete or team context to OpenAI to generate plain-language report narratives and coaching notes. Those inputs may include scores, strengths, focus areas, sport context, program availability, and a person’s name when needed for the report. We do not send raw camera video for narrative generation.

Generated text is reviewed by application safeguards but may still be incomplete or inaccurate. AI-generated narratives are informational performance content, not medical advice, a diagnosis, a treatment recommendation, or a clinical decision. Do not use them to make decisions about symptoms, injuries, medication, treatment, or whether an activity is medically safe. Review important health questions with a qualified healthcare professional.

07 Medical and healthcare boundaries

Reactive is not a healthcare provider or a medical device. The Service does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, screening, monitoring, treatment, rehabilitation, or emergency services.

This Policy describes how we handle personal information; it does not change the purpose or status of the Service. Our collection or use of a date of birth, physical-activity context, assessment responses, gaze measurements, scores, or other performance information does not make Reactive a healthcare provider or turn a Reactive result into a medical diagnosis, medical record, or treatment recommendation.

Assessments, visual-performance metrics, classifications, reports, Top Strength and Priority Focus designations, training plans, recommendations, coach notes, and AI-generated narratives are provided only for general performance, educational, and informational purposes. They are not intended to diagnose, screen for, monitor, treat, cure, rehabilitate, or prevent any disease, injury, visual condition, or other medical condition, and they cannot determine whether an activity is medically safe for you.

Using the Service or communicating through it does not create a doctor-patient, therapist-patient, or other healthcare-provider relationship with Reactive. A coach or organization may have separate professional obligations, but those obligations and any clinical relationship exist independently of Reactive.

Never disregard or delay professional medical advice because of information in the Service. If you have symptoms, an injury, or a health concern, contact a qualified healthcare professional. Reactive does not monitor for emergencies. If you believe you may be experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency services immediately.

08 Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain assessment history and organization records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, meet security and accounting needs, and comply with law. Retention periods vary by record type, workspace relationship, subscription status, and legal requirement.

When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it using reasonable measures. Copies may remain temporarily in backups or be retained where required for fraud prevention, legal claims, tax, accounting, or other lawful purposes. Account closure does not necessarily remove records that an organization must retain or that are also part of another authorized user’s workspace.

09 Your choices and rights

You may update available account or organization details in the Service, decline optional camera permission, clear browser storage through your browser, or unsubscribe from optional messages where offered. Authentication, billing, security, and other transactional messages are necessary to operate the Service.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection, or to appeal a decision about a privacy request. To make a request, email privacy@reactive.training. We may verify your identity and authority, and an authorized agent or guardian may be required to provide proof of permission. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

If an organization controls the relevant workspace information, we may direct your request to that organization or coordinate with it. You may also contact the appropriate privacy or consumer-protection authority in your location.

10 Athletes under 18

The Service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under 13. Users aged 13 through 17 may use Reactive only with parent or legal-guardian consent and supervision. Organizations are responsible for obtaining any additional permissions required before inviting, assessing, or training a minor athlete.

A parent or guardian may contact privacy@reactive.training to ask about, correct, or request deletion of a minor’s information. If we learn that we collected personal information directly from a child under 13 without required consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

11 Security and international transfers

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls, authenticated workspaces, encrypted transport, and role-based permissions. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, lost, or altered without authorization. Protect your sign-in links and notify us if you suspect misuse.

Reactive and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries where privacy laws may differ from those where you live. When required, we use contractual or other lawful safeguards for cross-border transfers.

12 Changes and contact

We may update this Policy as the Service, providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the updated Policy, revise the effective date, and provide additional notice when required. Material changes apply prospectively unless law permits otherwise.
